Hi, I’m Alex Dyson

I grew up here and proudly got my education in Warrnambool. I got my start in community radio locally before establishing my broadcasting career at Triple J. Now, in addition to radio, I also operate a small hospitality business.

I am running as an independent to get a better deal for southwest Victoria. I'm here to fight for what our community needs, not do what a party says.

Voting the same way gets the same outcome and in Wannon we've been overlooked for too long. If you're ready to get a better deal, then I'm ready to be your representative.

After listening to thousands of people from right across Wannon, these are the priorities I will fight for:

  • Fix our roads
  • Decisive action on cost of living pressures
  • End waitlists for child care
  • Make healthcare more affordable and accessible
  • Take real action on the housing crisis
  • Support regional communities in a changing climate
  • Better funding for local infrastructure
  • Stamp out corruption in politics
