Running a community led campaign without the support of a big party machine is costly. By donating to our campaign you are helping to buy volunteer T shirts, printing of information and promotional materials, social media boosting and paying the rent for one of our community hubs.

The first $1,500 of donations by an individual to a political party or candidate in a financial year may be tax deductible. However, you should confirm this when submitting your next income tax return. Please consult a tax advisor or this ATO article.

Transparency and accountability is at the core of why Alex chose to stand as a candidate in the Federal election in Wannon. That’s why we disclose the name and amount of every donation above $1,000, as well as donations of smaller amounts from people who agree to have their names published. You can see our list of donors, which is updated regularly, here. Donations above $16,900 are disclosed within two weeks. 

Unfortunately, donations from foreign donors cannot be accepted. By donating you are confirming that you are an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
